Welcome
Arcadia Riverside Conferences is East London’s dedicated conference and events venue. We host conferences, conventions, exhibitions, awards dinners, weddings and corporate events in one uninterrupted ballroom, plus a step-free hall and four daylight meeting rooms under the same roof.
We sit at the heart of Barking Riverside, one of London’s largest regeneration projects. The facilities are modern and broadcast-ready, and the team runs the day from first enquiry through load-out.
In-house AV and catering work with you through the whole event. You are not coordinating three suppliers on the morning of the show. Capacities and measured room sizes are published in this brochure, so you can shortlist before you call.
Guests arrive by Overground in 42 minutes from Fenchurch Street, or by car in about 22 minutes from central London with 50 plus free parking spaces a few minutes from the A13. That means an easy East London arrival without central London traffic, and the whole place to itself for your event.

Ceremonies, receptions and evening celebrations. A full hire day that runs from the first arrival through to the last dance.

Awards dinners, charity galas and formal receptions. A night built around the stage, the banquet covers and a clean run of show.

Trade shows, product launches and filming days. A clear floor you can dress, build and strip around the brief.

Capacities are measured from the architect’s floor plans. Figures show the bookable maximum for each layout. Licensed occupancy for the Arcadia Ballroom is 350.

The flagship
A first-floor ballroom for up to 350delegates in one uninterrupted room. Lift and step-free access keep the whole audience together, whatever the layout.
Ground floor
A column-free ground-floor hall with its own street entrance, step-free from the door. Room for up to 350for ceremonies, cabaret dinners and receptions.
The working day
Four daylight rooms for breakouts, boardrooms and training days. Each sits a short step from the main halls, free parking and venue-wide Wi-Fi.

The journey
Arrive by rail, road, bus or river. Far enough east that your event has the place to itself. Close enough that guests do not plan their day around the journey.
Overground on the Suffragette line to Barking Riverside, 42 minutes from Fenchurch Street. Barking station adds the c2c and District lines.
Uber Boat by Thames Clippers serves Barking Riverside Pier. Guests can continue to the venue by a short local walk or connection.
About 22 minutes from central London, a few minutes from the A13 for guests and production load-in, with 50 plus free on-site parking spaces. The venue sits inside the ULEZ zone.
EL1, EL2 and EL3 run day and night across East London and into Barking town centre.

The place
Barking Riverside is one of London’s largest regeneration projects: around 10,800 new homes along two kilometres of Thames frontage, with its own Overground station, an Uber Boat pier, and a new high street taking shape around the venue.
The district sits on the north bank, east of the Barking Creek barrier.
Barking Riverside joined the Overground network. The venue is 42 minutes from Fenchurch Street by rail, about 22 minutes by car from central London.
A new district is growing around the venue, with hospitality and retail arriving alongside it.
Simple for guests, and for production vehicles loading in and out.
This part of London is built for people to arrive at, not drive past. Guests come by rail, road or river without central London traffic, and the site is yours for the day rather than shared with a busy West End block.
