How we handle your information.

Arcadia Riverside Conferences (Arcadia Riverside Conferences, 47 Thames Road, Barking Riverside, London IG11 0HQ) is the data controller for the information described here. This notice explains what we collect through this website, why, and the rights you have. It was last updated in July 2026.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you provide: your name, organisation, contact details, event type, dates, guest numbers and any message. We also record how you reached us — the marketing source and campaign tags carried in the link you followed — so we understand which channels work.

When you browse the site, our analytics and marketing tools collect standard technical information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you view. See Cookies and analytics below.

How we use it, and our legal basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and plan your event — this is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and the first step toward a possible contract with you.
  • To contact you about your booking and provide the services you ask for.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site, and to improve it — our legitimate interest in running and marketing the venue.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used, and HubSpot to manage enquiries and understand our marketing. Both set cookies and may collect information about your visit. This data helps us count visitors and improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally beyond an enquiry you choose to send.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop you using the site or sending an enquiry.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is handled in HubSpot, our customer relationship and forms provider, and site analytics run through Google Analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your information. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting booking, and a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to our providers' standard settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we'll help. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
